“How Hispanic Coaches can impact tennis Development in the United States”

Target: Oriented to the Hispanic Coaches of South Florida

Goal: To create more options of education for Hispanic Coaches in their own language.

Theme of Workshop: “How Hispanic Coaches can impact tennis development in the United States”. The workshop will address topics related to both, High Performance and Recreational Tennis; Coaching Philosophy and Marketing.

Dates: Friday November 20th, all day Seminar (8:30 am to 6pm)

In his most recent role, Dr. Paul Lubbers served the USTA Player Development Division for three years as the Administrator of Coaching Education before being named the Director of Coaching Education and Sport Science in 2003. In his role with the USTA he worked to provide educational experiences and opportunities for tennis coaches as well as focusing on the talent development process for America’s top junior players.

Workshop Coordinator/Key Note Speaker: Gustavo Granitto.
He has been a speaker and seminar coordinator in ITF National, Regional and Worldwide Seminars in more of 51 countries worldwide since 1985; as well as participating in USTA Educational events, USTA/Florida, the AAT, and the PTR during the last decade. ITF Development Officer for Mexico, Central American and Caribbean region (1991-2005), he is also Tutor of the Level I, Level II and Play and Stay ITF Coaches Courses.

Gustavo Granitto, Workshop Coordinator:

Gustavo is Founder and Director of GTC Tennis Consultancy, www.GTCTennis.com, a company focused in development, advising and design of Juniors Program for Coaches, Parents, Clubs, Academies and Tennis Institutions. He has been a speaker and seminar coordinator in ITF National, Regional and Worldwide Seminars in more of 51 countries worldwide since 1985; as well as participating in USTA Educational events, USTA/Florida, the AAT, and the PTR during the last decade.
Gustavo has been associated with the ITF, since 1986. He was the ful-ltime ITF Development Officer for Mexico, Central American and Caribbean region (1991-2005).
He is also Tutor of the Level I, Level II and Play and Stay ITF Coaches Courses. From 1989 until 1992 he was Director of Coaches Education for the Argentinean Tennis Association. His 31 years of coaching experience with both junior and professional players, is highlighted by his involvement in Coaches Education and Junior Development. Gustavo is a Honorary Member
Professional of the PTR, since 1996.
